Sleeping

Khorag- Pamir Lodge

We stayed for 18 days (back recovery) and felt most welcome. You can camp or stay in rooms- shared bathroom and hot water bucket shower. The lodge a walk away from everywhere but is extremely peaceful with a nice garden

 Routes

The Pamir Highway

Running from Dushanbe in Tajikistan to Osh in Kyrgyzstan, the Pamir Highway is know as the Roof of the World and it certainly feels it at times. Our favourite section was the ‘northern road’ from Dushanbe to Khorag – taking you though winding rough tracks dotted with small villages (and ice cream to cool you down!) eventually taking you to run parallel with the Afghan border. Awesome.
